As I walked into Abruzzo's Pizza, I was greeted by the warm aroma of dough rising and fresh ingredients being prepared. This small establishment may lack a bustling atmosphere, but the flavors it offers are anything but small. The reviews reflect a strong commitment to quality; patrons rave about everything from the generous toppings to the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Customer Eodguy#3 aptly noted the sizable portions, giving a nod to the impressively big pizzas that could very well challenge your refrigerator space!
The standout item on the menu, as echoed by William McIntyre, is their 16” sausage pizza. Prepare to be amazed by the not overly greasy sausage, and dough that seems to have been crafted with love. The overwhelming satisfaction customers express after finishing an entire pizza speaks volumes about the quality of ingredients and the culinary techniques employed here.
And if you lean towards the New York style, you'll find the crust at Abruzzo's enticingly reminiscent of the classic big apple slices. Courtney Gil couldn't have put it better: the sauce is perfectly balanced with cheese, and the crust is undeniably genuine. Whether you are a first-timer or a returning patron, each visit promises that you’ll find yourself coming back for more.
What truly sets Abruzzo's Pizza apart is its welcoming staff who are eager to serve, as noted by Terry M. Their dedication to customer service shines through as they even accommodate late orders with a cheerful attitude. The sight of staff rolling and spinning dough right before your eyes is an experience on its own—a testament to their hands-on approach to pizza making.
Among the many offerings, their calzones are a revelation, as expressed by loyal customer Wendy White, who highlights the freshness of the food, paired with the gratitude the staff show their patrons. Each meal exudes quality and consideration, making every visit feel valuable.
Abruzzo's Pizza is not just about food; it’s about community, commitment, and culinary craftsmanship. The reviews speak for themselves, consistently placing Abruzzo’s among the top pizza locations. In a town filled with options, this little pizzeria is carving its place with big flavors and even bigger smiles. Be sure to stop by for a taste that might just change your perception of pizza!

This place has great pizza, excellent prices and excellent service. If you decide to order their biggest pizza, make sure you have a big refrigerator or suv. The box didn't fit into my standard refrigerator.

I echoed my wife's comment, "The best pizza I've had in years". We ordered a 16" sausage pie. We could have leftovers for my breakfast the next morning, but the pizza was so fantastic that we finished the whole pie. Everything from the dough, sauce and non-greasy sausage was perfect. This place has now cracked my TOP 5 pizza locations. Great food - not atmosphere.

First time trying out today. Reviews did not disappoint! Pizza is delicious. Sauce is perfectly balanced with cheese. Crust is true NY style. Will be regular customers.

This place is small, but the flavor is big. The only issue I have is that they need a bigger sign! The pizza slices are huge and delicious. Everyone inside had a smile on their face and made it seem very welcoming. They were happy to make more pizza, despite it being close to closing time. You can even see them rolling and spinning the dough. If you haven't seen it, it's pretty cool. Seriously, get a bigger sign so everyone in town can enjoy some of your pizza!

Such delicious pizza!! Highly recommend. Only complaint is that I live outside their delivery radius ;)

These guys have the (Best Pizza) in Jacksonville NC hands down This is my opinion, of course, but if you don't believe me, try it for yourself. As a matter of fact, as far as I'm concerned. I think there pizza's are better than New Jerseys pizzas. Though again, you gotta try them out yourself if you don't believe, little old me ...

We love this place! My favorite pizza place! This time we ate pizza by the slice. Sometimes I get a calzone, they are really good too! 2/2025 update still my favorite! I picked up calzones for dinner last night. It was Friday night they were so busy but it only took a few extra minutes and my calzones were so fresh and delicious it was well worth the time and money! They genuinely thanked me for my patience and business which made me feel valued!

Me and my fiance came here for dinner Sunday evening and oh man. We had the bread bites which were amazing. So darn good. The cheese bread were also soft and light. The pizza itself was delicious and pretty big for a medium (No complaints haha). We got the Chicken Florentine pizza. Mozzarella sticks were okay it’s definitely a preference. The place was nicely clean, the staff were very sweet and friendly and lucky us we were the only ones so the atmosphere was peaceful.
